Denholtz Properties Joins International WELL Building Institute to Advance Healthier Workplace Initiatives Across Portfolio
Denholtz Properties is proud to announce its membership in the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), aligning with the organization’s mission to promote health and wellness in building environments. Through this membership, Denholtz Properties will implement IWBI’s globally recognized WELL Building Standard™ across its 4.2 million square-foot portfolio, promoting a healthier, more secure environment for tenants.
The WELL Building Standard, introduced in 2014, is a framework specifically designed to enhance building and community spaces for occupant health and comfort. The certification process evaluates ten key elements, including air, water, nourishment, light, movement, and community. By incorporating WELL principles, Denholtz Properties aims to achieve new benchmarks in tenant wellness and establish safer, adaptable environments across its office, flex, and multifamily properties.
CEO Steven Denholtz commented, “The COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the critical importance of healthy building environments. Pursuing the WELL Building Standard throughout our portfolio represents our commitment to creating spaces where individuals feel both protected and valued.”
In addition, Denholtz Properties Associate Jamie Atkins has recently earned the WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP) credential, furthering the company’s expertise and readiness to implement effective health strategies across their properties. Atkins will collaborate with Denholtz Properties’ senior leadership to integrate these wellness practices and enhance value for tenants across New Jersey and Florida.
IWBI CEO Rick Fedrizzi welcomed Denholtz Properties, stating, “We are excited to have Denholtz Properties join IWBI’s mission to create healthier, more people-focused spaces. Their commitment reflects our shared goal of advancing wellness in the places where we work and live.”
