Denholtz Properties Continues to Foster Downtown Tampa Growth with Land Sale to Mill Creek

14 October 2019

Denholtz Properties has announced the sale of land adjacent to its 1000 N. Ashley Avenue office building in downtown Tampa to Mill Creek Residential. This transaction will enable the construction of Modera Tampa, a luxury mixed-use apartment community in the vibrant River Arts District, enhancing the area’s appeal as a premier live-work-play destination.

Located at North Ashley Drive and West Tyler Street, Modera Tampa will offer immediate access to cultural landmarks, including the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, the Tampa Riverwalk, and various dining, shopping, and entertainment options.

Targeted for completion in fall 2021, the eight-story Modera Tampa will feature 353 apartments and approximately 13,000 square feet of retail space. The development will include studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, as well as a rooftop deck, fitness center, pet spa, resident clubroom, and other modern amenities.

“Tampa’s real estate market is thriving, drawing interest from developers, investors, and residents,” said Steven Denholtz, CEO of Denholtz Properties. “With this land sale, we welcome Mill Creek’s vision for Modera Tampa, which will build on downtown Tampa’s reputation as one of the most desirable locations nationwide.”

Modera Tampa will rise next to The Times Building, Denholtz Properties' ten-story, 180,000-square-foot office landmark in downtown Tampa. Following a recent $1.5 million renovation, the building now features a modernized lobby, new restrooms, a fitness center, and a café operated by Inside the Box Catering, enhancing its role within Tampa’s burgeoning Arts District.

This project aligns with Denholtz Properties' ongoing commitment to fostering urban revitalization, supporting downtown Tampa’s growth as a dynamic hub for business, culture, and lifestyle.
