18 November 2019

Denholtz Properties proudly announces that CEO Steven Denholtz has been named to NJBIZ's 2019 Real Estate Power 50 list, which celebrates influential New Jersey real estate leaders who demonstrate visionary leadership and lasting impact on the state’s real estate industry.

With over 30 years of dedicated leadership, Denholtz has transformed Denholtz Properties into a powerhouse, expanding from a modest firm into a dynamic enterprise that manages a 4.2-million-square-foot portfolio across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Recognized for his unique ability to identify high-value investment opportunities and execute complex development projects, Denholtz has been instrumental in driving growth across various real estate sectors, including office, industrial, and flex spaces.

“In one of the nation’s most competitive real estate markets, it’s a testament to Steven’s leadership that he stands out among his peers,” said Stephen Cassidy, President of Denholtz Properties. “His vision and dedication have enabled Denholtz Properties to thrive, consistently creating value and bringing transformative projects to life.”

Achievements and Leadership Initiatives

This year, Denholtz led the rebrand from Denholtz Associates to Denholtz Properties, signifying a refined investment focus on urban core developments and community-driven projects, particularly in New Jersey and Florida. The rebrand was accompanied by the relocation of the company’s headquarters to a 30,000-square-foot building in Red Bank, N.J., adjacent to Denholtz Properties’ The Rail @ Red Bank Station, a mixed-use development under construction.

Beyond his business achievements, Denholtz is deeply committed to philanthropy and community support. As a Board Member of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) and an advocate for local arts and education, he prioritizes projects that enrich the community. In collaboration with Monmouth University, he actively supports Students for Sober Living, providing resources for students in recovery, and has sponsored Open Heart Yoga in Red Bank to offer free classes to the public.

Community and Industry Engagement

Through his leadership, Denholtz Properties has also committed to meaningful community engagement. The firm is a proud partner of Popcorn for the People, a nonprofit providing employment for adults with autism, at the Piscataway Corporate Center. Additionally, Denholtz Properties volunteers with Lunch Break and JBJ Soul Kitchen in Red Bank, participating in annual food drives, school supply donations, and other initiatives to support local residents in need.

Steven Denholtz’s placement on the NJBIZ 2019 Real Estate Power 50 list highlights not only his business acumen but also his dedication to fostering positive community impact and creating opportunities across New Jersey’s real estate landscape.
